Tom brought his entire family including three grandchildren and Nathan who had just got home from his mission, to visit us in Nauvoo. We were glad to see each of them again. They visited Carthage and several events including Sunset By the Mississippi and the Nauvoo pageant. Those endowed did a session in the temple while Susan tended the children. Everyone seemed to have a good time and left with some additional memories of Nauvoo.
Below are some of the pictures recording their stay here.

Marge: On Monday we went to the house to eat lunch with Tom and Lisa because they have a lot more room to seat everyone. On the way out I was walking towards the street from the porch. Norm had gone across to get the car and as I approached the sidewalk I did not notice that there was one more very small step of about three inches. Looking at it from the house it did not even show. As I stepped my heel was still on the upper level but the front of my foot went down unexpectedly, pitching me forward. I did a "face plant", landing on my knees, elbows, cutting one hand, before my face slammed into the sidewalk. It twisted my ankle but I could walk on it so I was pretty sure that I didn't break it. By evening everything still hurt and I felt like I needed a blessing. We didn't have any concentrated oil but did have olive oil so we put a little in a small bottle and took it over to have it concentrated so I could have a blessing. Nathan anointed and Norm pronounced the blessing. Tom, Tanner Barney, and David Allsop also stood in the circle. I was overwhelmed by the strength of the priesthood in the room. And I felt so much gratitude that they were all worthy to exercise their priesthood in my behalf. We had the morning shift on Tuesday and I felt good enough that I was able to go and perform my duties in the temple. To me it was truly a miraculous healing to be recovered so quickly.
