Our Temple Presidency

These are the dear people who guided and helped us this summer while we served in the Nauvoo Temple.  Theirs was the challenging task of bringing in about sixty couples from various temples throughout the church and in a short time get them trained in the "Nauvoo Way" (local procedures unique the the Nauvoo Temple) and make them prepared to work as a unified team to administer the affairs of the temple. This was especially important because of the large volume of patrons who visit Nauvoo each summer to see the historic sites and attend the Pageant.  This historic temple, rebuilt to resemble the temple that was built by the early saints under the guidance of Joseph Smith, attracts families, youth groups and tour groups by the scores.  Our Presidency put in long hours to make sure that everything in the temple was running correctly.  Each in their own special way, was able to inspire us to do our best and helped our testimonies strengthen about the importance of temple work and the reality and love of the Savior.  For their faithful efforts, we are eternally grateful.
